Principal, Associates & Staff
Stuart Diamond
A commercial litigation and insolvency specialist, Stuart Diamond founded the firm that now bears his name in 2004. Prior to that Stuart was General Counsel to one of the world’s largest independent international trust companies. He had previously been a lawyer in private practice in the Cayman Islands and Australia for 15 years. Stuart has degrees in Law and Arts from Monash University (Victoria, Australia). Stuart is a member of the Council of the Cayman Islands’ Law Society. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of the Information and Communications Technology Authority which regulates telecoms, internet, television and radio in the Cayman Islands. Stuart is a director of several large, private companies in the Cayman Islands. He is an Australian with Cayman Islands status and is a naturalized British Overseas Territories Citizen with right of residence and employment throughout the European Union. Stuart is currently admitted to practice in the Cayman Islands, England & Wales and Australia (All Federal Courts and Tribunals, State of New South Wales, State of Victoria and Australian Capital Territory). Stuart is a Notary Public in and for the Cayman Islands.
